Our Rich History
Rockford Calibration Service, Inc., operating as The Calibration Solution and now as a subsidiary of the ATS family of companies, has been in the quality business for over 50 years. Our sitting President, Scott Twigg, purchased Rockford Calibration along with his wife, our sitting controller, Lynne Twigg, in 1997 and laid the groundwork for the current landscape TCS resides within. Some of the same technicians hired when the company was purchased are still working in our state-of-the-art climate-controlled quality lab to this day, continuing to offer the same exemplary service you have come to know.
With one of the largest scopes of accreditation in the Midwest, we aim to offer a complete metrology solution for each and every customer that connects with our top-quality service team. Whether at your facility or ours, our goal is to make your job easier. In 2024, Applied Technical Services (ATS), acquired The Calibration Solution and have since integrated our scope and our values into the ATS family. This partnership unlocks new opportunities for our customers, allowing us to access our sister companies’ services and provide them to you. ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE
We’ve found that confidence is earned and we’ve earned the confidence of our customers in over 40 successful years of doing business. We are ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited and we are a member of the National Conference of Standards Laboratories. Our experienced staff can perform the majority of our capabilities onsite, but also maintain a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled laboratory, held to 68° ±1 degree Fahrenheit, for calibrations that require such a facility.
